    Abstract
The menstrual cycle is an important indicator for women's reproductive health. The menstrual cycle is seen as ideally regular every month, namely within a period of 21-35 days per menstrual period. 75% of the menstrual cycle itself can be influenced by many things, one of which is stress levels and inappropriate body mass index. This research was conducted at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan, with the aim of this research being to find out whether there is a relationship between stress levels and body mass index (BMI) with the menstrual cycle of female students at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan. This type of research uses a quantitative method with a cross sectional approach with a sampling technique using total sampling, so that the sample for this research is 91 people. Data collection used a questionnaire, for menstrual cycle data used theory from the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42 (DASS 42). The statistical analysis used was the chi-square test. The research results showed that variables that were related to the menstrual cycle were stress levels (p=0.019) and body mass index (BMI) (p=0.030). It is recommended to be a reference material regarding stress levels and body mass index (BMI) for young women, it is hoped that they can better control their food intake and maintain stress stability with the menstrual cycle being good and classified as normal and without disturbances.
