The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the effect of Capital
Structure, Operation Efficiency, and Non-Interest Income on the Profitability of
State-Own Banks in Indonesia for period 2014-2023. This type of research is an
associative research, and the type of data used is quantitative data obtained from
the annual financial statements of each company on the official website of each
company and the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the research period. The
population of this research is state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock
Exchange for the period 2014-2023. The sample in this research amounted to 4
(four) banks, with the sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique.
The results of this research show that partially, capital structure has a positive and
significant effect on profitability, operation efficiency has a negative and
significant effect on profitability, and non-interest income has a negative and
insignificant effect on profitability of state-owned banks in Indonesia.
