Abstract

Pharmacist Professional Internship (PKPA) in the Pharmaceutical Industry of PT. Abbott Indonesia was held on June 1, 2024-July 31, 2024 with working hours from 08.00-17.00. This PKPA was carried out in an effort to find out and see directly the role, function and responsibilities of pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry and understand the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (CPOB) to ensure the quality of drugs produced at PT. Abbott Indonesia. PKPA activities carried out at PT. Abbott Indonesia include activities during the Quality System (QS) and induction into other departments in the industry which are carried out by presenting material in the form of presentations regarding the activities and responsibilities of each department in a joint meeting room at PT. Abbott Indonesia. The Quality System is part of the Quality Assurance department whose activities include handling product complaints, evaluating suppliers to produce good quality products, ensuring HALAL raw materials and packaging materials and holding training for employees to improve the knowledge of employees working at PT.
