dc.description.abstract | Caring behavior is the success of care which is the main picture of health services in hospitals. Nurses can do professional work by paying attention to caring behavior, which is very important to improve patient satisfaction and is one of the indicators of the quality of hospital services. Based on the description above, this study aims to analyze how the relationship between nurses' caring behavior and the level of outpatient satisfaction at Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Hospital. This study uses quantitative research with a descriptive correlation research design, the number of research samples is 60 respondents using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a caring behavior questionnaire and patient satisfaction. Data were analyzed using the Pearson R correlation statistical test. It is known that the p value obtained a sig. (2 tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 and r = 0.834 which means that there is a significant relationship between nurses' caring behavior and patient satisfaction. The results of caring behavior are good at (95%) with the results of the dimensions of knowing (98.3%), being with (90%), doing for (83.3%), enabling (71.7%), and maintaining believe (80%). Patient satisfaction is satisfied with a value of (98.3%) with the results of the dimensions of reliability (100%), assurance (91.7%), tangible (75%), empathy (68.3%), responsiveness (88.3%). Significant value p = < 0.00 which means there is a relationship between nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction levels. Based on the findings of this study, the relationship between nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction levels at Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Hospital. The study suggests an emphasis on appropriate caring behavior in nurses when performing nursing actions. | en_US |
