Abstract

Pharmacist Professional Internship in Hospital is one form of work practice in the pharmacist professional education program. The purpose of this PKPA is so that prospective pharmacists can understand the problems related to pharmaceutical work in Hospitals professionally, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and professional principles. At Prof. Dr. H. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis Hospital, University of North Sumatra, PKPA activities include the management of pharmaceutical supplies, medical devices, and disposable medical materials (BMHP), as well as the provision of hospital clinical pharmacy services. Clinical pharmacy services provided include outpatient care, inpatient care, operating room (OK) depot, IGD depot, chemotherapy depot, and warehouse. The hospital pharmacy installation has carried out pharmaceutical supplies and clinical pharmacy services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, except for clinical pharmacy services in Blood Drug Level Monitoring (PKOD). This PKPA provides skills and practical experience in carrying out pharmaceutical work in Hospitals.
