| dc.description.abstract | The Pharmacy Professional Practice (PKPA) at Prof. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan
Lubis Hospital, Medan, was conducted from September 9, 2024, to November 13,
2024. This PKPA was carried out as an effort to provide training, skills, and
expertise to prospective pharmacists by directly observing the management of the
Hospital Pharmacy Installation (IFRS) and the role and duties of pharmacists in
providing pharmaceutical services in the hospital. The aim is for prospective
pharmacists to understand the issues related to the pharmacy installation and be
able to practice pharmacy professionally in accordance with applicable laws and
professional standards. The PKPA activities at Prof. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan
Lubis Hospital included the management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical
devices, and Disposable Medical Supplies (BMHP), as well as providing hospital
clinical pharmacy services. The clinical pharmacy services provided included
outpatient care, inpatient care, operating room depot, Emergency Department
(IGD) depot, and chemotherapy depot. The pharmaceutical supply and clinical
pharmacy services at the hospital pharmacy installation have been carried out in
accordance with the regulations and have been implemented, except for the
clinical pharmacy service related to Blood Drug Concentration Monitoring
