Rumah Sumbul Village is one of 30 villages in Sibolangit Sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency, where most of the population still uses and preserves the use of traditional medicinal plants for various types of diseases suffered. One of the local wisdom in the health sector that has not been widely documented is the local wisdom of the Batak ethnicity. The purpose of the study was to identify what types of lower plant medicinal plants exist in Rumah Sumbul Village and analyze their flavonoid content. The diversity aspect of the method used is by analyzing vegetation, when in the field what is done is to make transect lines that are placed by purposive sampling based on the presence of plants that represent the area. The sampling intensity taken is 1% or an area of 0.06 hectares from an area of 6 hectares. The method used to determine flavonoid content is the flavonoid content test method. The results of the study were 19 types of lower plant medicinal plants, all of which contained flavonoid compounds. The usefulness of each type of medicinal plant is different. Most types of medicinal plants are used to be mixed ingredients in the manufacture of massage oil.
