The purpose of this research is to evaluate the physical properties, mechanical properties, and microscopic properties of particleboard made from organic waste and bamboo shavings. The testing of physical and mechanical properties refers to the standard JIS A 5908 (2003). Particleboard testing parameters consist of density, moisture content (KA), water absorption (DSA), thickness development (PT), Modulus of Elasticity (MOE), Modulus of Rupture (MOR) and Internal Bond (IB). In the density test results, the highest value was found to be the board with a ratio of 75/25, namely 0.55 /cm3.In the water content test, the best results were found in the 50/50 ratio, namely 5.96%. For the best results produced in the test of thick development and sequential water absorption, namely 25/75 with a value of 6.83% and a ratio of 100/0 with a value of 36%. The physical properties of particleboard on the parameters of density, moisture content and thickness development have met the JIS A 5908-2003 standard. For mechanical properties testing, in the internal bond test, 2 samples have met the JIS A 5908-2003 standard, namely boards with a ratio of 50/50 and a ratio of 25/75. For MOE test, all samples did not meet the standard. For the MOR test, 1 sample meets the JIS A 5908-2003 standard, namely boards with a ratio of 25/75. The results of the microscopic properties test showed that the adhesive successfully bonded the two particles together.
