Abstract

This research tries to describe and analyze facts about the role of integrated service centers for empowering women and children in North Sumatra province in handling cases of women victims of domestic violence. The aim of the research is to describe how the P2TP2A mechanism in North Sumatra handles cases of women and children victims of domestic violence. As well as explaining faktors and solutions in handling cases of victims of domestic violence. The data used in research ii came from interviews, books, P2TP2A documents in North Sumatra and the internet. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this research show that the function of P2TP2A is very important in the process of handling cases of women and children victims of domestic violence. Through the P2TP2A process as an empowerment agency for women who are victims of domestic violence, women who are victims of domestic violence will be protected from the violence faced by women who are victims of domestic violence. From the results of P2TP2A’s role, action will be taken regarding the service performance process for women victims of domestic violence. P2TP2A services will provide optimal protection for women.
