dc.description.abstractChild labor exploitation is work performed by minors between 5-14 years of age that robs them of their childhood. Child labor exploitation is one of the most prevalent human rights violation issues in India. The Indian government has enacted a number of policies to address the issue. However, the exploitation of child labor cannot only be solved by domestic policies from the government, but also requires help from other parties. UNICEF, or the United Nations Children's Fund, acts as an international organization to help the Government of India overcome the problem of exploitation of child labor that is very high in the country. This research aims to analyze the programs carried out by UNICEF and UNICEF's efforts to overcome the exploitation of child labor in India, especially in 2021-2023. This research uses International Organization Theory and the concept of Human Rights. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method using literature study technique. Based on the results of the study, it shows that UNICEF's actions in overcoming the problem of violations of children's rights in India are carried out through various programs such as the Country Programme Action Plan, Integrated Child Protection Scheme and Champions for Children. While UNICEF's efforts in overcoming the exploitation of child labor in India are by proposing a revision of the child labor exploitation law, publishing periodic reports on the situation of exploitation of child labor in India and UNICEF's efforts with the ILO to run the ARC (Asia Regional Child Labour) project. From UNICEF's programs and efforts, the Indian government has been able to make progress in handling the problem of child labor exploitation in India in an effort to reduce the number of child labor exploitation that occurs in the country.en_US
