dc.description.abstract | Background: Pharmacist Professional Work Practice Activities (PKPA) at RSUD
dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh's work included studying the functions and duties
of hospitals in public health, studying the work systematics of hospital pharmacy
installations, and studying the distribution system of pharmaceutical supplies in
hospitals which includes inpatient services, outpatient services, emergency room
services, chemotherapy services, hemodialysis services, and warehouse. Objective: The general objective of implementing professional work practices forpharmacists in hospitals is to examine the role and function of pharmacists in managing drug supplies and clinical pharmacy services at Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital, Banda Aceh. Method: Management of Pharmaceutical Preparations, Medical Devices, and Medical Consumables and Clinical Pharmacy Services. Results: Prospective pharmacists also perform clinical pharmacy services such as Drug Information Provision (PIO) in outpatient pharmacy services, reconciliation, prescription review, mixing sterile non-sterile preparations, chemotherapy. In
addition, they also monitor drug therapy and assess the rationality of drug use
through an integrated approach method, namely the SOAP method (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan). Conclusion: After conducting the Pharmacist Professional Education Internship activities at dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional Hospital, Banda Aceh City, it was
concluded that pharmacists at dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional Hospital, Banda Aceh
City have carried out their roles and functions in managing pharmaceuticalsupplies and clinical pharmacy services. | en_US |
