dc.description.abstract | Professional Pharmacist Work Practice (PKPA) at Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (PBF) for students of the Pharmacy Education Study Program is carried out to improve the understanding of prospective pharmacists about the roles, functions and responsibilities of pharmacists in PBF, equipping prospective pharmacists to have insight, knowledge, skills, and practical experience to carry out pharmaceutical work at PBF. The implementation of PKPA at PBF Antar Mitra Sembada was carried out on May 1-5, 2024. PKPA activities are carried out every Monday to Friday at 08.00-16.30 WIB and Saturday at 08.00-15.00 WIB. Based on the schedule, the number of effective hours for students to participate in PKPA at PBF is 182.5 hours. PKPA Activities at PBF Antar Mitra Sembada, namely understanding the functions and duties of PBF as a pharmaceutical distributor, understanding the role of pharmacists in supporting health services at PBF, knowing the role of pharmacists in managing pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and disposable medical materials starting from selection, planning, procurement, receipt, storage, distribution, withdrawal, control and administration at PBF, checking incoming and outgoing goods, reporting over the counter drugs, restricted over the counter drugs, prescription drugs, psychotropic drugs, precursors, certain drugs, and handling of Cold Chain Products (CCP), as well as temperature mapping. | en_US |
