dc.description.abstract | Objective: The Pharmacist Professional Practice at the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan POM RI) for students of the Pharmacy Education Program is carried out to enhance the understanding of prospective pharmacists about the roles, functions, positions, and responsibilities of pharmacists in the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan POM RI). It aims to equip prospective pharmacists with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to carry out pharmaceutical tasks at Badan POM RI. The Pharmacist Professional Practice (PKPA) in Government at the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM), located at Jl. Percetakan Negara No. 23, Central Jakarta 10520.
Implementation Date: PKPA will be held from March 4, 2024, to March 28, 2024, from 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM WIB on Mondays to Thursdays, and from 08:00 AM to 03:30 PM WIB on Fridays.
PKPA Activities: The implementation of the Pharmacist Professional Practice (PKPA) at the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM) from March 4-6, 2024, will begin with a pre-test, followed by a general lecture on the main duties and functions of the various deputy offices and centers within BPOM. From March 7-25, 2024, students will carry out the Pharmacist Professional Practice (PKPA) in their respective work units. The PKPA activities at the Directorate of Supervision of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements, and Quasi-Medicines (OTSKK) will begin with guidance from the PKPA supervisors at BPOM, followed by a presentation and discussion of activities from the 9 working teams in the Directorate of Supervision of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements, and Quasi-Medicines (OTSKK), which include the certification and inspection team; quality, safety, export, and import supervision team; advertising and labeling supervision team; human resources, data, and information management team; budget efficiency team; UPT independence improvement team; public service improvement team; cross-sector coordination team; and RB improvement team. During the PKPA at the Directorate of Supervision of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements, and Quasi-Medicines (OTSKK), students will be assigned specific tasks related to the activities of the Directorate. The PKPA activities will conclude with a presentation by the PKPA students on their activities during the PKPA at each BPOM work unit and a post-test from March 26-28, 2024. | en_US |
