| dc.description.abstract | Background: The Pharmaceutical Industry is a business entity that has a permit
from the Ministry of Health to carry out the activities of making drugs or drug
ingredients. The pharmaceutical industry also has a function in education and training
as well as research and development.
Objective : Knowing the role and responsibilities of pharmacists in the Pharmaceutical
Industry, as well as the application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles
in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Method : This report was conducted using a qualitative approach including collecting
information related to the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists in the
Pharmaceutical Industry, as well as the application of Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMP) principles in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Results: Prospective Pharmacists have gained an understanding of the roles and
responsibilities of pharmacists in the Pharmaceutical Industry, as well as the application
of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), namely the quality of the
pharmaceutical industry, personnel, buildings and facilities, equipment, production,
good storage and delivery of drugs, quality control, self-inspection, complaints and
product recalls, documentation, outsourcing activities and qualifications and
validations in the Pharmaceutical Industry applied at PT. Abbott Indonesia Cimanggis
Plant Depok.
Conclusion : PT. Abbott Indonesia Cimanggis Plant Depok has implemented aspects
of Good Manufacturing Practices (CPOB) of pharmaceutical industry quality,
personnel, buildings and facilities, equipment, production, good storage and delivery
of
drugs, quality control, self-inspection, complaints and product recalls,
documentation, outsourcing activities and qualification and validation as well as CPOB
principles in the Pharmaceutical Industry applied at PT. Abbott Indonesia Cimanggis
