The level of knowledge and attitudes are key factors influencing farmers' behavior in using pesticides, particularly in cabbage farming in Berastagi Sub-district, Karo Regency. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The research findings show that the level of education, farming experience, and cosmopolitanism significantly and positively affect the level of knowledge; the level of knowledge significantly and positively influences attitudes; attitudes do not significantly affect behavior; and the level of knowledge can moderate the influence of vegetable farmers' attitudes on pesticide use behavior.
