Cervical cancer is caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection, particularly subtypes 16 and 18. Prevention efforts include primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. Primary prevention, which involves education and vaccination, has become a global and national government program. According to WHO data, HPV vaccination coverage is still at 7% of the global target of 90%. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing HPV vaccination motivation among female adolescents. The research employs a cross-sectional study design with descriptive analysis. The sample was selected using proportionate stratified random sampling, comprising 200 female adolescents at SMPN 12 Medan. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire assessing factors influencing HPV vaccination motivation and an HPV vaccination motivation questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SMART-PLS. The study results indicate that several factors significantly influence HPV vaccination motivation, including knowledge (0.008), attitude (0.004), family history of cancer (0.001), family support (0.000), and school support (0.011). Other significant factors include the availability of healthcare services (0.029) and access to transportation to healthcare facilities (0.020). The study concludes that various factors influence HPV vaccination motivation among female adolescents at SMPN 12 Medan. Future researchers are expected to explore other unexamined factors and provide interventions tailored to the sample's background to enhance their motivation for HPV vaccination.en_US
