The Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) at the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM RI) aims to enhance prospective pharmacists' understanding of their roles, functions, and responsibilities in drug and food supervision. The PKPA was conducted from March 4 to March 28, 2024, with a total of 125 effective hours. Activities included material briefings, case studies, as well as understanding the investigation process and evidence management in BPOM's Directorate of Drug and Food Investigation. The analyzed case study focused on the criminal act of illegal production and distribution of traditional medicines in Banyuwangi, emphasizing regulatory aspects, safety standards, as well as investigation and enforcement procedures. The results of the PKPA demonstrate that pharmacists involvement in drug and food supervision is crucial in ensuring the safety, quality, and efficacy of products circulating in society. Therefore, this practical experience serves as essential preparation for prospective pharmacists in carrying out their roles in the government sector.en_US
