Abstract

This Professional Pharmacy Work Practice is conducted as a requirement for completing the Professional Pharmacy Study Program (PSPPA) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of North Sumatra, in order to attain the degree of Pharmacist. The aim of this Professional Pharmacy Practice is to equip and enhance the understanding of prospective pharmacists regarding the roles, functions, and responsibilities of pharmacists in pharmaceutical services at Puskesmas, by directly observing the implementation of pharmaceutical services at UPT. Puskesmas Kampung Baru. The Professional Pharmacy Work Practice activities carried out at UPT. Puskesmas Kampung Baru include the management of pharmaceutical preparations and Medical Consumable Materials (MCM), which involves needs planning, procurement, receipt, storage, distribution, control, recording, reporting, as well as monitoring and evaluation. Additionally, clinical pharmacy services are provided, including prescription review and services, Drug Information Services (DIS), counseling, drug utilization evaluation, and health promotion.
