This research aims to describe the job satisfaction of teachers at SMP X based on certain aspects, such as gender, marital status, and years of teaching experience. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data was collected from all teachers at SMP X in Lubuk Pakam through a survey utilizing the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) developed by Spector (1997). This instrument measures nine dimensions of job satisfaction, namely salary, promotion, supervision, benefits, recognition, work rules, coworkers, nature of the job, and communication. The results of the study show that the majority of teachers (71%) have a high level of job satisfaction, while a small proportion fall into the moderate (25%) and low (4%) categories. Analysis based on demographic characteristics indicates that the majority of subjects with high job satisfaction are female, unmarried, and have been working for more than 3 years. The results also show that the majority of teachers have high job satisfaction aspects, with the nature of work aspect having 52 teachers or as many as 94% in the category with high job satisfaction.en_US
