dc.description.abstractThis research is a quantitative study that aims to describe the Extraversion personality type in Generation Z users of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI). Participants in this research were 365 University of North Sumatra (USU) students aged between 15-29 years and who were GAI users. The measuring tool used is the International Personality Item Pool Big-Five Factor Marker-25 (IPIP BFM-25). The sampling technique in this research is Accidental Sampling. This research shows that 69 participants have a high Extraversion personality category, 40 participants have a low Extraversion personality category and 256 participants are not classified. The results of this study show that women have high scores on the Exraversion personality type. Apart from that, the research results also show that Generation Z students with high Extraversion scores are more likely to use GAI for the purpose and reason of seeking information and because of its convenience which is considered practical.en_US
