Abstract

Objective: The Pharmacist Professional Work Practice in the Industry for students of the Pharmacist Professional Education Program aims to enhance future pharmacists' understanding of the roles, functions, and responsibilities of pharmacists in the industry. It equips future pharmacists with insight, knowledge, skills, and practical experience to perform pharmaceutical tasks in the industry. Implementation: The Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) in the Pharmaceutical Industry at PT. Kimia Farma Sungwun Pharmacopia, located at Jl. Angsana Raya Blok A06-001, Sukaresmi, Cikarang Selatan, Bekasi Regency, West Java. This PKPA was conducted from September 9, 2024, to November 13, 2024. The program lasted for two months with a five-day workweek, from 07:30 AM to 04:30 PM WIB. PKPA Activities: The PKPA activities carried out at PT. Kimia Farma Sungwun Pharmacopia include training sessions aimed at providing a fundamental understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly the induction of each division within PT. Kimia Farma Sungwun Pharmacopia. The assigned placement was in the Quality Control Department. PKPA activities include learning about the responsibilities of pharmacists in the QC department, data processing, documentation, and validation.
