Analisis Rasio Profitabilitas pada Pt Bank Central Asia Tahun 2020-2023

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) from 2020 to 2023 through profitability ratios. This analysis seeks to determine how well PT Bank Central Asia Tbk has optimized its profits during this period. The data used in this study was obtained from annual reports accessed through the official website of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. The profitability ratios analyzed include Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM). The results indicate that PT Bank Central Asia Tbk's profitability performance experienced a significant increase during the 2020-2023 period, particularly in 2021, as indicated by rising ROA and ROE. However, from 2022 to 2023, profitability fluctuations were observed, influenced by external factors such as changes in global and domestic economic conditions. This study is expected to provide insights for PT Bank Central Asia Tbk’s management to continuously improve its profitability performance and for investors in making investment decisions.
