dc.description.abstract | An individual's academic self-efficacy is closely related to their learning
motivation. Individuals with low levels of self-efficacy tend to have low learning
motivation. Conversely, the higher a person's academic self-efficacy, the higher
their learning motivation. This study aims to examine the relationship between self
efficacy and learning motivation among students at the Faculty of Nursing,
Universitas Sumatera Utara. This research employs a quantitative approach with a
cross-sectional design. The sample consists of 206 students selected using
probability sampling with a proportional sampling technique. The research
instrument used was a questionnaire comprising self-efficacy and learning
motivation scales for students. The results indicate that Hal is accepted, and Ho is
rejected, with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), demonstrating a significant relationship
between self-efficacy and learning motivation among nursing students at
Universitas Sumatera Utara. The conclusion of this study is that there is a
relationship between self-efficacy and learning motivation among nursing students
at Universitas Sumatera Utara. | en_US |
