dc.description.abstract | A person can be stressed due to the tension and pressure of problems caused by the high activity and routine in the urban environment. Cadika Park is one of the Green Open Spaces (GOS) that can be used as a healing forest area accessed by all urban communities because of its economical nature. This research aims to analyze the potential of healing forest tourism development in the Green Open Space (GOS) of Cadika Park, Medan City. The physical environmental parameters of the healing forest consist of vegetation density, temperature, and relative humidity, noise level, wind speed, negative ion content, and CO2 content in the air. The purposive sampling method used in this study consisted of 20 measurement points spread across Cadika Park, Medan City. Data collection for temperature, air humidity, noise level, wind speed, air negative ions, and CO2 content were collected at three different times of the day and the days used were two days on weekdays (Monday - Friday) and two days on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Based on the results of the measurement of environmental parameters, the overall average value for vegetation density is around 51.27%, air temperature around 30.6oC, air humidity around 70.7%, flat slope level, noise level around 52.4 dB, wind speed around 0.19 m/sec, air negative ion content around 184,375 ions/cm3, and CO2 content in the air around 467.8 ppm. | en_US |
