The recovery process for drug abusers requires family support to enhance motivation. In the absence of such support, the chance of successful recovery becomes minuscule. Low levels of family support are strongly correlated with a lack of effectiveness in fostering motivation for recovery and family support is a key factor in encouraging drug abusers to develop self-motivation to recover. This research uses a descriptive correlational design with a cross-sectional approach and the research population consists of 112 individuals, with a sample size of 88 individuals. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it concludes that of 88 respondents studied, most of them receive good family support, namely 38 people (43.2%) and the majority also exhibit a moderate tendency to relapse, namely 39 people (44.3%). There is a correlation between family support and the tendency to relapse of drug use in the center of Insyaf Medan with p-value=0.000 indicates p<(0.05) and the correlation coefficient (r) -0.582 which means that family support has a moderate negative correlation (moderate) with the tendency to relapse of drug use in the center of Insyaf Medan. t is recommended that families take a more active role in providing support-emotional, moral, and practical to family members undergoing the recovery process to help prevent relapse.'en_US
