dc.description.abstract | Organizational commitment in teachers is one of the important components in determining the success of education. One of the variables related to organizational commitment in teachers is teacher stress. Teacher stress is an experience experienced by teachers that includes negative emotions caused by demands that exceed the teacher's ability. This study aims to determine the negative role of teacher stress on organizational commitment in SDS Al-ulum teachers in Medan. The respondents in this study amounted to 38 teachers from SDS Al-ulum in Medan. Data collection was conducted using a teacher stress scale prepared based on Kyriacou & Sutcliffe's theory and an organizational commitment scale prepared based on Meyer & Allen's theory. The data obtained were processed with simple linear regression analysis techniques with a significance value of p which is 0,001 (p < 0.05). This shows that teacher stress has a significant role on organizational commitment in teachers of SDS Al-ulum Medan City. | en_US |
