Analisis Kesejahteraan Petani Padi Berdasarkan Luas Lahan Di Desa Sitoluama Kecamatan Laguboti Kabupaten Toba

Abstract

Farmer welfare is something that needs attention considering the size of the agricultural sector. Farmers welfare can be indicated by the farmer's exchange rate (NTP). Low farmer exchange rates can occur due to changes in agricultural product prices or farmers income being smaller than the price of consumer goods or farmers expenditures. Farmers income is influenced by the amount produced on each land area. The condition of decreasing production results will affect income and welfare. The decrease in production that occurs is one of the important problems in Sitoluama Village. This study aims to analyze farmers welfare based on land area and analyze differences in income, expenditure and welfare based on land area. Data were analyzed using the One Way Anova test. The results of the study showed that on average the value of household welfare based on land area was > 100, which means that farmers are classified as prosperous. Income, expenditure and welfare of farmers based on land area have the same significance value, namely 0.00 < 0.05, which means that there are differences in income, expenditure and welfare based on land area in Sitoluama Village, Laguboti District, Toba Regency.
