Peran Psychological Well-being terhadap Komitmen Organisasi pada Guru Sekolah Dasar Swasta Al-Ulum Kota Medan
The Role of Psychological Well-being on Organizational Commitment in Teachers of Al-Ulum Private Elementary School in Medan City
Abstract
Organizational commitment that exists in a teacher is one of the important aspects
in the world of education to support the quality of education. Ones factor that has a
role in this commitment is psychological well-being, a high level of psychological
well-being in a teacher makes them more professional in carrying out their duties
as a teacher. The subjects in this study were 38 teachers of SD Swasta Al-Ulum
Kota Medan, using the total sampling method. Data were collected using
psychological well-being scale based on Ryff's Scales of Psychological Well-Being
(RPWB) and organizational commitment scale based on Meyer & Allen's theory.
Then the data were tested with simple linear regression analysis using JASP
software. Based on the results of data analysis, the p value = 0.031 was obtained.
Therefore, this study shows that psychological well-being has a significant role on
organizational commitment in teachers of SD Swasta Al-Ulum Medan City
