dc.description.abstract | The corn seed vegetable oil manufacturing plant with a capacity of 5000 tons per year is designed to meet the increasing needs of the food and non-food industries. Corn oil as one of the sources of vegetable oil has great potential in the food, cosmetics, and biodiesel markets. In this pre-design, the oil extraction process is carried out using mechanical and solvent methods, which are selected based on efficiency and environmental friendliness. Technical analysis includes selecting a factory location, calculating raw material requirements, and estimating investment and operational costs. In addition, studies on environmental impacts and sustainability aspects are the main focus to ensure that the production of this vegetable oil is not only economically profitable but also socially and environmentally responsible. With the application of appropriate technology and efficient management, it is hoped that this factory can contribute to food security and the development of the agricultural industry in Indonesia. The initial plan for this Corn Oil factory is planned to produce a capacity of 5,000 tons/year and operate for 300 days a year. The location of the factory is planned in Karo Regency, North Sumatra. with a land area of 12,500 m2. The workforce needed to operate the factory is around 90 people. The planned form of business entity is a Limited Liability Company (PT) and the organizational form is a line and staff system organization. Untuk pendirian dan operasional pabrik memerlukan Modal Invetasi sebesar Rp.63.936.000.000,- dan Total Biaya Produksi sebesar Rp. 91.900.000.000,-. Berdasarkan analisis kelayakan pabrik ini memiliki BEP sebesar 56%, ROI sebesar 29,4%, POT selama 3,4 tahun, RON sebesar 90% dan IRR sebesar 27,5%.
