dc.description.abstract | In the construction of Menara Loncat Indah Kolam Renang Selayang, Medan, the existing construction consists of the upper structure and the lower structure. In this project work, a type of deep foundation of bored pile type is used. This research is aimed at analytically finding the axial bearing capacity of the bored pile foundation, using sondir data (CPT), Aoki de Alencar method, PDA test using the finite element method with the help of PLAXIS 2D software finite element method. Then also analyze the lateral bearing capacity using the Broms method, and elastic settlement on single piles and group piles. Calculations were carried out on a bored pile foundation with a diameter of 0.5 m and a depth of 4.5 m at sondir point S-1. The ultimate bearing capacity calculated using sondir data is 71.14 tons, then with the finite element method using PLAXIS 2D software, the ultimate bearing capacity obtained is 112.232 tons. From the PDA data, the ultimate bearing capacity obtained was 98.9 tons. The lateral bearing capacity calculated analytically using Broms method is 9.8 tons and by graphical method is 8.55 tons. The elastic settlement obtained by the Vesic method is 5.3 mm, then the settlement obtained from PLAXIS 2D software is 7.35 mm, and from PDA data is 7.06 mm. The group pile settlement obtained from the calculation is 10.6 mm. For different values of bearing capacity and settlement, it can be seen that there are differences due to the depth of the point under review, the test method, parameters, and safety factors used. | en_US |
