Pengembangan Puncak Sibodiala Balige sebagai Destinasi Wisata Alam di Kawasan Danau Toba

Abstract

Sibodiala Peak is a new tourist destination located in Silalahi Pagar Batu Village, Balige, Toba Regency, North Sumatra. This place is managed by the Tourism Awareness Group of Dusun II Sibodiala and has great tourism potential due to its natural beauty. This study aims to analyze the development of accessibility and tourism facilities at Sibodiala Peak to enhance its attractiveness and visitor comfort.The research method used is field observation. In addition, the author also conducted library research by collecting data from books, articles, and other literary sources. The research results show that although Sibodiala Peak offers an appealing tourist experience, several challenges remain in terms of accessibility and supporting facilities, such as road infrastructure, public facilities, and accommodation. Furthermore, the presence of unique flora and fauna adds to the attraction for tourists, especially nature lovers.In conclusion, the development of accessibility and tourism facilities at Sibodiala Peak is crucial to improving the quality of the tourist experience and promoting the economic growth of the local community. Therefore, collaborative efforts between the government, the community, and related stakeholders are needed to optimize the tourism potential of this area.
