dc.description.abstract | According to data, a significant portion of Indonesia's population is experiencing an increase in the edelry population. Over time, the ederly generalty experience a decline in their quality of life, particulary those who continuously engage in heavy workloads. The quality of life of the ederly encompasses four aspects: physical activity, psychological well-being, social relationships, and enviromental conditions. This study aims to identify the quality of life of ederly individuals working at the Suprapto Integrated Market, Tanjungbalai City. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a total sampel of 68 respondents, selected using non-probability and total sampling techniques. The study findings indicate that the majority of respondents are aged 45-60 years (39 respondents or 57.4%) and are female (44 respondents or 64.7%), with a high school education background (32 respondents or 57.1%) and a net income of 2-3 milion IDR per month (37 respondents of 54.4%). The respondents predominantly have a low quality of life, especially in the physical and social health aspects. Future research is expected to further explore the quqlity of life of ederly individuals who are working and not working, particulary in the psychological and physical health aspects. | en_US |
