Congestion is one of the problems that we often encounter in traffic in Indonesia, especially on the Medan to Binjai route. This congestion occurs due to the heavy traffic flow caused by the large number of vehicles and limited road capacity. Currently, the available transportation options for the Medan to Binjai route are cars, buses, and trains. Because the train takes about 1 hour, the government is developing the train, namely the Medan-Binjai Railway which can make travel time faster to realize the goals of the government related to the development of the train, the Medan-Binjai Railway line was built. The foundation is the lower structure that functions to distribute the load from the upper structure. The choice of bored pile foundation for the Medan-Binjai Railway Project is the right choice, because the installation of bored piles does not interfere with the surrounding structures. This study was conducted to find the value of axial bearing capacity of bored pile foundation based on SPT (Standard Penetration Test) data using Reese and Wright method, finite element method with PLAXIS 2D software. The lateral bearing capacity is calculated using the Brooms method, as well as calculating the elastic settlement of the bored pile and the settlement of the pile group that occurs. The data used is secondary data obtained from PT.PP. The calculation of the axial bearing capacity of the bored pile using SPT (Standard Penetration Test) data with the Reese & Wright method is 1359.947 tons at a depth of 37 m. From the PDA (Pile Driven Analysis) Test results, the ultimate bearing capacity at a depth of 37 m is 976 tons. The results of calculations with PLAXIS 2D software amounted to 1,002.79 tons at a depth of 37 m. The lateral bearing capacity based on Brooms Method at Bore Hole - 48 analytically is 58.8 tons and graphically is 53.46 tons. The resulting single elastic settlement is 8.6 mm. The settlement with PLAXIS 2D software was 11 mm. The settlement of the pile group amounted to 12.7193 mm.en_US
