dc.description.abstract3D printing is a manufacturing process technology developed to create rapid prototypes, one of which is FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology. This study aims to formulate the correlation of process parameters, pattern and density with tensile strength ratio and weight response in 3D printing and analyze and formulate a combination of process parameter variable values that produce optimum values for the response variables σ, W and strenght to weight ratio using the Taguchi method. The design of the research object carried out on 3D printing is tensile test specimen ASTM D638 Type IV standard. This printing uses a bed temperature of 60 ℃, and PLA filament printing raw materials. For the linear correlation obtained, namely: σ = -7,547972222 + (0,032201111 x_1) + (-6,826777778 x_2) + (-0,004943889 x_3) + (0,188786667 x_4) + (2,628727778 x_5) and for W = -0,314814815 + (0,005 x_1) + (-0,333333333 x_2) + (-0,002777778 x_3) + (0,055925926 x_4) + (0,055555556 x_5); tensile test (σ) Optimum : printing speed 70 mm/s, printing temperature 210℃, layer height 0.15 mm, fill density 60% and fill pattern Zig-Zag; and Optimum weight (W): printing speed 110 mm/s, printing temperature 190℃, layer height 0.2 mm, fill density 30% and fill pattern Tri-Hexagon.en_US
