dc.description.abstractFulfillment of the need for clean water is one of the main challenges in Lintong Nihuta District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. Currently, the clean water distribution network only serves 6,07% of the total population. This study aims to evaluate and optimize the clean water distribution network using EPANET 2.2 software. The research methods include field surveys, collection of technical data on the distribution network, and hydraulic simulations using EPANET 2.2. The results of the study indicate that there is an imbalance in pressure in the network, especially in areas with higher elevations. For this reason, it is recommended to develop a distribution network by optimizing pipes and adding booster pumps at several strategic points. This study provides recommendations to increase service coverage to 59,88% of the total population in the coming year.en_US
