dc.description.abstractHydrogen gas is an alternative fuel option that can be used and has low pollution in the long term. Additionally, hydrogen has clean burning characteristics and better performance, driving interest in hydrogen fuel. This research shows that mixing hydrogen with fossil fuels can improve vehicle performance and save on fossil fuel use. This research uses 125cc motorbike with a 4-stroke engine combustion system, with a CVT transmission system and an Electronic Fuel Injection fuel misting system. The aim of this research is to analyze the performance of varying values for the percentage of pertalite fuel and hydrogen gas to look for increases in torque, power and thermal efficiency, and a decrease in specific fuel consumption of the motorbike engine. Performance testing was carried out using varying hydrogen percentage values of 10%, 10.5% and 11%. This research shows an increase in torque of 3.79% with a hydrogen percentage variation of 10.5% with an engine speed of 7400 RPM, a power increase of 6.22% with a variation of a hydrogen percentage value of 10% with an engine speed of 7900 RPM, a reduction in specific fuel consumption of 30.07% with a variation of a hydrogen percentage value of 10% with an engine speed of 6000 RPM, and an increase in thermal efficiency of 21.16% with a variation of a hydrogen percentage value of 10% with engine speed 6000 RPM. There was also a decrease in HC and CO exhaust emissions, then an increase in CO2 and O2 at each variation in the percentage value of the pertalite fuel mixture and hydrogen gas.en_US
