Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga dengan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik di Ruangan Hemodialisa RS Ginjal Rasyida

Abstract

Hemodialysis is an essential kidney replacement therapy for patients with chronic kidney failure. This therapy aims to eliminate metabolic waste and excess fluid from the body. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and the quality of life of chronic kidney failure patients in the hemodialysis room of Rasyida Kidney Hospital. The type of research used was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 77 respondents, patients at Rasyida Kidney Hospital who were determined by the total sampling technique. Data collection in this study used a family support questionnaire and a quality of life questionnaire. Based on univariate data analysis, it was obtained that most respondents had good family support as many as 40 (51.9%), sufficient 34 (44.2%), less 3 (3.9%). the majority had a high quality of life as many as 71 (92.2%), moderate 6 (7.8%). The results of the bivariate analysis using the Spearman rho test showed a significant relationship between family support and the quality of life of chronic kidney failure patients in the hemodialysis room of Rasyida Kidney Hospital with a p-value = 0.002 (<0.05) with r = -0.346.
