dc.description.abstract | One of the factors causing high levels of unemployment is a lack of thorough career planning. In order to prepare themselves, students need career maturity and view of their future (Future Time Perspective). This research aims to determine the role of Future Time Perspective on career perfection in high school students in Medan. This paper was used quantitative method with sample of 346 high school students in Medan with age range between 15-18 years. The measuring instrument used in this research is a Future Time Perspective Scale which prepared by researchers based on aspects proposed by Husman & Shell (2008) and a Career Maturity Scale which compiled by Lubis (2023) based on the theory by Super (in Sharf, 2013). This research results show that Future Time Perspective have a positive effect to Career Maturity of high school students in Medan. Future Time Perspective have effect in Career Maturity in high school students in Medan with a value contribution of 6.8%. | en_US |
