dc.description.abstract | This research discusses "Code Mixing of Arabic Language in the Novel Ayat-Ayat
Cinta 2 by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy." The purpose of this study is to describe the
types of Arabic language code mixing found in the novel. This research is a
sociolinguistic study using the code mixing theory by Suwito and Suwandi. The
research method employed is a descriptive qualitative analysis. The data collection
technique is conducted through the simak method, which involves written language
observation and note-taking using the catat technique. The collected data consists
of written texts containing elements of code mixing. The data analysis technique
uses the padan method, specifically PUP (element sorting technique), which divides
linguistic units (words) into various types. The results of this study found that in the
novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2, Arabic language code mixing occurs in Indonesian, with
three forms of code mixing used: (1) Code Mixing of Words, which includes verbs
(fi'il) and nouns (isim), masdar noun, maf'ul noun, past tense verb (fi'il madi), fa'il
noun, fa'il noun, imperative verb (fi'il amr), adjectives (isim sifat), masdar; (2) Code
Mixing of Phrases; (3) Code Mixing of Clauses. | en_US |
