This research discusses the changes in lexical meaning of loanwords in the Indonesian language derived from Arabic, as presented in the online news of Buletin Kaffah, edition 2024. The objective of this study is to describe the loanwords found in the online news of Buletin Kaffah, edition 2024, utilizing the theory of meaning change developed by Chaer and the concept of loanwords as proposed by Ruskhan. The method employed in this research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation methods and note-taking. The data for this study consists of loanwords from Arabic to Indonesian found in the online news of Buletin Kaffah for the 10th edition in the year 2024.The results of this study indicate that there are loanwords in the form of words and phrases that have undergone broad meaning changes, narrowed meaning changes, and total meaning changes in the online news of Buletin Kaffah. The broad meaning changes are found in loanwords such as ahli kitab, amanah, ijtima, illat, khilafah, risalah, kufur, maslahat, muamalah, saf, syiar, tausiyah, and wasilah. The narrowed meaning changes are observed in loanwords such as ahlussunah, ghanimah, ijmak, jihad fi sabilillah, jizyah, mujtahid, saum, syariah, and "taharah." No total meaning changes were identified.In conclusion, the online news of Buletin Kaffah, edition 10 in the year 2024, utilizes 38 loanwords from Arabic to Indonesian. Among these, 22 loanwords have undergone changes in meaning, while 16 loanwords have not experienced any changes in meaning.
