dc.description.abstract | MUHIZAR YASVISYAH PALEVI SIAHAAN. Analysis of Morphological and Agronomic Characteristics of Sweet Potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) Through Vegetative Propagation Using Tubers Guided by Mr. EMMY HARSO KARDHINATA.Sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) is one of the fourth carbohydrate-producing food crops after rice, corn, and cassava. Identification is an activity of characterizing all the traits possessed by the genetic diversity sources of plants. Morphological characterization-based identification is used to highlight the similarities and differences among plants based on their morphological traits. This study aims to analyze the differences in the morphological and agronomic characteristics of sweet potato through propagation with tubers on Jalan Harmonika Baru, Padang Bulan Selayang II, Medan Selayang District, at an altitude of +25 meters above sea level. This research was conducted from March 2024 to August 2024. The design used was a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 6 replications and 1 factor. Based on the results, it was found that each sweet potato color has different characteristics, both in morphological and agronomic traits. | en_US |
