    Abstract
    Insomnia is the difficulty in initiating or maintaining restorative sleep, resulting in severe or persistent fatigue causing clinically significant distress. This sleep disorder can lead to difficulty in concentration, decreased activity, impaired emotional control, and rapid mood changes. Insomnia is often triggered by psychological disorders such as depression, emotional disturbance, or anxiety. Various methods have been developed to overcome insomnia, one of which is SmartPillow. SmartPillow products on the market have disadvantages, such as electromagnetic radiation that can interfere with sleep quality. Exposure to electromagnetic field radiation can reduce sleep quality, including short sleep time and sleep difficulties (circadian rhythms) in users. This research presents the design of Healthy SmartPillow without the effects of electromagnetic radiation which aims to help sleep problems of insomnia sufferers. Healthy SmartPillow uses gel memory foam that provides a cool and soft sensation and is integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) equipment. The IoT equipment is designed inside the pillow and features sleep music playback, lavender aroma therapy spraying, and a sleep timer that can be controlled by the user through the blynk application on a Smartphone. Healthy SmartPillow is measured for its electromagnetic field radiation value, and Healthy SmartPillow is tested directly with the test subject. From the measurement results, after using the Faraday cage on the Healthy SmartPillow, the value of the magnetic field is 0 μT and the electric field is 0 V/m. Direct Healthy SmartPillow testing with test subjects shows that subjects aged <30 years and >30 years can fall asleep in less than 25 minutes after using Healthy SmartPillow.
