This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self acceptance and online dating motivation in Tinder application users in Indonesia. This study involved 122 respondents and the research method used in this study was quantitative research method with accidental sampling method. Data collection was carried out using the Tinder Use Motivation Scale from Orosz (2018) which totaled 16 items and the self acceptance scale from Berger (1952) which totaled 34 items. This study uses quantitative methods involving 122 respondents aged 18-40 years. The data collection method in this study used an adaptation of the TUMS (Tinder Use Motivation Scale) scale which totaled 16 items and the Self Acceptance scale with 34 items. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, although the results show a negative correlation between the online dating motivation variable and the self acceptance variable. A negative correlation indicates an inverse relationship between two variables, so it does not always mean that the hypothesis is rejected. This can be interpreted by, the lower the individual's self acceptance, the higher the individual's online dating motivation.en_US
