Increasing demand of electric power supply is accommodated by providing more electric energy sources. Existing energy balance is increased by providing more power plants. All available power plants should operate in parallel to serve the loads. Parallel operation requires coordination to work efficiently and economically. This is subject to load sharing among all plants. This paper is intended to determine specific electric output of each plant from four steam power plant owned by PLN PJB UP Gresik by using lambda iteration method. This paper uses existing load data in July 2015 that has been collected by previous researcher. Total load demand are shared equally among the four plants. This output power of each plants is then used to specify the gas volume that required by the plant to produce the intended output power. The total gas required by the plants for one month operation is then compared to the actual gas consumption by PLN PJB UP Gresik. Results shows that gas consumption can be reduced when calculation is carried out.en_US
