The study discusses about directive speech acts on Kuchibiru Ni Uta O Film By
Takahiro Miki. The purpose of this research is to know the existence of identify the
types of directive speech acts and their usage within the context of the Kuchibiru Ni
Uta O film. The source of research data is dialogue conversation of Kuchibiru Ni
Uta O film by Takahiro Miki. The research methods used are qualitative descriptive
methods, and observational methods. The theory used is the speech act theory
adopted from the expert, namely Namamate. His research data is oral data that
contains of Types of directive speech acts and Use of directive speech acts in the
film Kuchibiru Ni Uta O dialogue. Based on analysis of the film Kuchibiru Ni Uta
O was found 11 data containing types of directive speech acts including: 3
command speech data, 3 request speech data, 2 prohibition speech data, 2
permission speech data and 1 recommendation speech data. From the research
analysis, it was also found there was a variety of speech acts used. The use of
request types such as:"~onegau" and "~moraeru", command types such as
"~kudasai", prohibition types such as "~naide kudasai" and "~V ru na", permission
types such as "~te mo ii", and suggestion types such as "~Ta houga ii".Therefore,
it may be concluded that the film Kuchibiru Ni Uta O contains five types of speech
acts and five Use to directive speech acts of varying sizes.
