dc.description.abstractThis study aims to design and test a hybrid power generation system that combines solar and wind energy. The system consists of a vertical-axis Darrieus wind turbine with variations in the number of blades (4 and 6 blades) and a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) using a 50 Wp solar panel. The combination of these two energy sources is intended to enhance power generation efficiency and ensure a more stable energy supply. The electrical energy generated by both the wind turbine and the PLTS is stored in a battery and then distributed to various loads, such as DC lamps, AC lamps, and electric fans. Testing was conducted to compare the performance of each blade configuration in terms of wind speed, voltage, and current generated, both under load conditions and during battery charging. The results indicate that the number of blades significantly affects the wind turbine’s efficiency in capturing wind energy. The 6-blade turbine demonstrated better performance in generating voltage and current output compared to the 4-blade turbine. Additionally, the PLTS plays a crucial role in providing supplementary energy, particularly when wind speeds are low or unstable. Thus, this hybrid power generation system can serve as a reliable and efficient renewable energy solution, particularly in areas that are not yet connected to conventional power grids.en_US
