This research aims to analyze the personality of the main character, Muhammad Ibn
Musa Al-Khawarizmi, in the animated film Āl-Khawārizmī the theory used is
analytical psychology as proposed by Carl Jung. This theory divides human
personality into two main attitudes, namely introvert and extrovert, as well as four
psychological functions: thinking, feeling, sensing, and intuition. This research uses
a qualitative descriptive method with data analysis techniques based on the
dialogues presented in the film. This research found 40 data classified based on the
psychological types of the main characters. The personalities of the two figures
show a complementary relationship in the realms of science and leadership. The
research results show the main character Al-Khawarizmi has an extroverted
personality with thinking and intuition, indicating a logical, innovative, and critical
mindset. Meanwhile, His Majesty Al-Ma’mun exhibited an extroverted personality
