The condition of oil palm growth at the research site is the parent plant planted for the production of superior oil palm seedlings. The research aims to determine the physical properties of Ultisol soil in oil palm plantations (Elaeis quineensis Jacq.) Aek Pancur Tanjung Morawa District. The method used in this research is a survey method conducted in the field followed by soil sample analysis in the laboratory. Soil sampling in this study used purposive sampling technique based on Land Map Unit (SPL). Data from the analysis of soil physical properties in the laboratory were compared with the table of criteria for the value of soil physical properties. Soil texture in Aek Pancur Oil Palm plantation is clayey loam, sandy clay loam, sandy clay and clay, the soil structure type is granular, soil bulk density is high, soil particle density, soil porosity is poor, poor and very poor, soil color is Brown, Dark Brown, Very Dark Brown, and Dark Reddish Brown.en_US
