dc.description.abstractEnergy is a fundamental necessity in human life and industry. One approach to improving energy utilization efficiency is through the combustion process of alternative fuels, such as Refused Derived Fuel (RDF) and sawdust. This study aims to analyze the co-combustion performance of these two fuels using simulation and experimental methods in a gasification-based combustion furnace. The research methodology includes experimental analysis and simulation using Aspen Plus and SolidWorks software. The combustion process is examined under two conditions: stoichiometric and non-stoichiometric, with fuel mass variations of 3 kg, 5 kg, and 7 kg. Based on calculations, the total air requirement for combustion is 13.35 kg of air for 3 kg of fuel, 22.5 kg of air for 5 kg of fuel, and 31.15 kg of air for 7 kg of fuel. The key parameters measured include combustion chamber temperature, combustion efficiency, and gas emissions. Co-combustion of RDF and sawdust in a gasification system can be a more efficient and environmentally friendly alternative energy solution. Adjustments in air supply and fuel composition are necessary to achieve optimal efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of the combustion process.en_US
