dc.description.abstract | Beef is one of Indonesia's imported commodities. The volume and value of beef imports in Indonesia continue to surge every year. Total beef imports in 2021 were 211.43 thousand tons. The highest increase occurred in 2016, which was 137% or 114.46 tons from the previous year. The purpose of this study is to find out what factors affect the volume of beef imports in Indonesia in 2012-2023. The data used in this study is time series data in monthly form from 2012 to 2023. The analysis method used is Multiple Linear Regression. The results of this study indicate that together the independent variables and dummies in this study, namely foreign exchange reserves, gross domestic product, exchange rates, domestic beef prices, imported beef prices, eid month and month before eid fitri are declared suitable for analysis with this regression model and are able to simultaneously provide a real influence on beef import volume in Indonesia. Individually, the independent variables of foreign exchange reserves have a negative and significant effect, exchange rate has a positive and not significant effect, gross domestic product has a positive and significant effect, domestic beef price has a positive and significant effect, imported beef price has a negative and significant effect, eid month has a positive and not significant effect, month before eid has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable of beef import volume in Indonesia. The independent variables in this study can explain the dependent variable of beef import volume in Indonesia by 62.8%. | en_US |
